Before my course with Katie, my cortisol levels were sky high! Katie is an extremely talented practitioner and her Mindfulness course gave me the skills I needed to reduce my stress and anxiety. I now have a "pocket book" full of resources to refer to daily and to call upon when I need extra support. Learning the skills to support myself has changed my life!
The MBSR course has given me the skills to observe my thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them good or bad. It has made me more aware of the need to be living in the moment and awakening to experience, the here and now, and not ruminating in the past or future. I am able to observe others with curiosity. It has heightened my compassion. In times of stress or pain, I utilize breathing to regulate my emotional response, and this has been enormously helpful.
Katie's MBSR course was very enjoyable and became something that I looked forward to each week. It has provided me with an effective way to minimise stress and has taught me new ways to bring a sense of calmness into my busy life.
